I have built or modified many stations from grass roots to modifications such as: adding tanks, piping changes, pump replacement, additional islands and canopies to name a few. There are many types of equipment to consider, for example tanks, there are single or double wall, in ground or above ground, steel or fiberglass and also fibreglass covered steel. Even the interstitial monitoring system can be; air, vacuum or brine. A tank installation is expensive and all of the above options have their good points but not all will be best for your station. I can provide an unbiased description of the strong and weak points of each system.
